This issue of the magazine highlights high-tech solutions to combat hunger. As a featured interview for the cover story, Dr. Prabhu Pingali discusses his optimism for meeting future food needs, but calls on policymakers to look broadly at the food system to better integrate agriculture and nutrition outcomes and ensure rural inclusion and women’s participation.
