Dr. Pingali offers context and enthusiasm for The Big Ratchet: How Humanity Thrives in the Face of Natural Crisis by Ruth DeFries. The review “Wringing food from the world” was published in Nature Geoscience in March 2015.

Dr. Pingali featured on cover of “Creating Chemistry,” a magazine by BASF

This issue of the magazine highlights high-tech solutions to combat hunger. As a featured interview for the cover story, Dr. Prabhu Pingali discusses his optimism for meeting future food needs, but calls on policymakers to look broadly at the food system to better integrate agriculture and nutrition outcomes and ensure rural inclusion and women’s participation.
