Get Involved
TCI offers an array of opportunities for those interested in contributing to the Institute’s work, including fellowships and internships.
TCI Scholars Program
TCI scholars are master’s and PhD students at Cornell University whose research aligns with TCI’s commitment to improving nutrition outcomes and livelihoods in India and other developing countries. They come from a diverse range of academic fields, such as economics, food science, and development sociology.
Fieldwork is integral to TCI’s mission. TCI scholars conduct intensive fieldwork as a part of their research.
Research Group
TCI’s research group gives TCI scholars, researchers, and others a chance to present their work to each other and receive feedback on their research projects. An interdisciplinary group of researchers and students, the research group offers opportunities for synergies between different fields.
The research group meets weekly during the academic year.
Summer Internship
TCI offers internships in India to master’s and professional degree candidates at Cornell University. Interns are placed across India to work on research projects connected to TCI’s main research areas.
