On Thursday, November 2, Mann Library hosted a Chats in the Stacks talk with Prabhu Pingali, TCI Director and editor of the new book Agriculture and Rural Development in a Globalizing World (1st Edition/Routledge, May 2017). He discussed the multi-faceted nature of agriculture and rural development and the greatest challenges facing the developing world. As societies adapt to the transformation process, institutional changes are needed to address food and nutrition security.
