TARINA holds first state-level policy dialogue on diversifying food systems in Odisha
On July 19, 2017, TCI-TARINA, in partnership with CARE India and the Xavier School of Rural Management, held its first state-level policy dialogue, titled “Towards a diversified food system: Emerging opportunities in Odisha,” at the Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar. Panelists included state and national policymakers and practitioners from NABARD, IFPRI, and OUAT, among others. The Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture in Odisha was also present. Deliberations focused on agricultural production and consumption diversity, as well as market and value chain development.
