Dieter Bouma is a research support specialist at TCI working to improve agricultural markets and technical support for small farmers and generate new knowledge about farmer producer organizations (FPOs) through the development of an FPO Platform for India. Dieter has a background in environmental sustainability and development in South Asia, having worked on projects in India and Nepal related to climate-induced displacement, rural livelihood development, community forestry, and conservation and development. Through his work, he seeks to improve the lives of marginalized populations and the ecosystems on which they depend.
