Addis Abera Ayalew is a research support specialist at TCI, where he works on the Institute’s project on the True Cost of Food Subsidies in India. He has over a decade of experience in Ethiopia, where he participated in multiple development projects across a wide range of areas, including market infrastructure, rural financial services, digital agriculture, and private sector development. Addis holds an MPS in global development from Cornell University, an MSc in economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, and a BA in economics from Haramaya University. His research interests are development economics and public policy.
