Jialu Li

Jialu Li is a research support specialist in TCI. Her primary research interest is exploring technological and innovative strategies that help accelerate the global sustainable agriculture transformation. She is also interested in the gender dimension of the transformation phase. Before joining TCI, Jialu earned her Master of Public Administration at Cornell University with a concentration in international development studies. During her master’s studies, she was a TCI summer intern. In that capacity, she participated in an ICRISAT project, Mechanization and Feminization: The Case of Machine Harvestable Chickpea, studying the interaction between agricultural mechanization and gender, which was also the theme of her graduate thesis. Jialu received her bachelor’s degree in Malay language and diplomacy from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
